Lincoln celebrates its music

Friday 4/1/05 marks the second anniversary of Starcityscene.com, a Web site devoted to the Lincoln music scene.

To celebrate, organizers are hosting several events throughout the month, including a rock-show poster exhibit and "Scenefest" concerts in both Lincoln and Omaha.

"Scenefest" takes place April 22 and 23 and includes music from 20 Lincoln bands, which will perform at Bodega's Alley, 1415 O St., and Duffy's Tavern, 1412 O St.

A miniversion of "Scenefest" will be held April 29 in Omaha at O'Leaver's Pub, 1322 S. Saddle Creek Road.

The concerts start at 9 p.m., and admission is $8 at the door. For information, visit www.starcityscene.com.
